Citation Analysis: Managing Results in Scopus

Explains how to use Web of Science and Scopus to conduct citation analysis.

Analyze Search Results

Use Analyze search results to identify prolific authors and track important journals or conferences. You can also analyze results by other fields such as institutions/organizations/affliations, countries/territories, document type, etc.

To analyze a set of results, click on the Analyze search results link at the top of the search results page. Select the field data to analyze by clicking on the related tab. To view the records in a particular set, click on the link.

View Citation Oveview

Citation overview displays the documents you've selected on the search results page and provides the citation statistics by publication year. You can also choose to view the h-graph (for h-index) of the set of articles by clicking on View h-graph.
