What is Turnitin?

Turnitin is an online text-matching tool that checks students' work against existing sources for improper citations or potential plagiarism (Turnitin.com).

Students can access Turnitin via their Blackboard accounts, under Courses>Directed Research. For assistance, please contact the ITHelpdesk.

Researchers who would like to check their papers for plagiarism in a text-matching software like Turnitin can use iThenticate.
