Document Delivery Service (DDS) is a service for KAUST students, faculty and staff to request full-text articles and book chapters (maximum 3 chapters) not available in the Library sources.

Who is Eligible to Use This Service?

 Applicable to all KAUST current students, faculty, staff, Sabic, Aramco and DOW. 

What Can I Request?

          

  • Journal articles
  • Book chapters (maximum 3 chapters)
  • Conference papers
  • Dissertations and theses​
  • Other publications

King Abdullah University of Science & Technology library provides interlibrary loan and document delivery services to authorized users to increase access to resources in order to improve teaching and research and This guide will help you with how to obtain items not available in KAUST university Library. 

There are two types of document delivery services available:  

Electronic delivery of articles/book chapters
Available to KAUST current students, faculty, and staff.
It provides electronic delivery as a PDF format of articles or book chapters.

A printed copy of articles/book chapters

Available to KAUST current students, faculty, and staff.
Provides as a printed copy of an article or book chapter (subject to copyright restrictions) to be delivered to the requesters only as a printed.

How Long it Will Take to Receive My Document?

       

In most cases, it takes less than two days. except for some other condition may it takes more time to get it.
